Project NancyAfter my first full season doing triathlon and qualifying for the 2011 World Age-Group Sprint Triathlon Championships in Beijing/ China and the 2012 European Age-Group Sprint Triathlon Championships in Eilat/ Israel, it is time to plan ahead.
For 2012, I have had a little look at the events calendar and decided that the World Age Group Duathlon Championships in Nancy are going to be my target race and that the Triathlon Championships in Israel are going to provide an early season highlight where I intend to mix it with the top. Why Nancy? The main reason is that it is only about an hour from where I grew up and so it will be one of the few races my parents will actually be able to come and watch. I think that is reason enough. The challenge now is to get there and plan the winter, the spring qualifying and then the summer season around it. | About MeAmbitious age-grouper.
